The innovative industrial PhD in “Cross Innovation Design for Cultural Industries” is structured to provide advanced and interdisciplinary training, combining theory, practice, and applied research.

CONSISTENCY WITH PNRR OBJECTIVES

The innovative PhD Course in “Cross Innovation Design for Cultural Industries” covers disciplinary areas and topics consistent with the country’s needs, giving particular importance to promoting economic development, the production system, the preservation and enhancement of cultural heritage, and innovation.
The Course aims to develop specific, broad, original, and qualified teaching and research activities, consistent with the Standards and Guidelines shared at the European level regarding quality assurance (ESG).
The coordination and implementation methods of the research activities, as well as the incentive mechanisms to promote technology transfer and the development of the results of the activities themselves, are agreed with the Partners to enhance the outcomes and ensure their circulation according to the principles of “Open Science” and “FAIR Data.”
The Course includes a study and research period in industry and abroad for a minimum of 6 months to a maximum of 18 months over three years, in addition to language and IT skills improvement activities for research management and results enhancement.

The actual activation of the PhD mentioned in Article 1 of this provision is subject to ministerial accreditation pursuant to DM No. 470/2024 and the eligibility assessment for funding for positions with scholarships charged to DM No. 630/2024.
