Double Exhibition: Davide Miceli e Alessandro Martina, curated by Beatrice Levorato. RUFA Space 10-14 May 2021.
We present a work on “remembered primitivism”, the imagery of an era that we have never experienced because it did not exist. This double exhibition features two third-year of BA in Visual Arts students, Alessandro Martina from Painting and Davide Miceli from Sculpture. The two artists are exhibiting a series of works that are different from each other but whose ultimate aim is to involve the viewer emotionally. In addition to the various paintings, installations and sculptures on show, Davide Miceli and Alessandro Martina present a performance with Leonardo Spoletini accompanied by music, dance and actions. The sound was edited in collaboration with Niccolò Di Ferdinando, with the coordination of the lecturer Federico Landini.
Curated by Beatrice Levorato, they come together in an installed mixture of the tribal and the primitive.
