During the Talk Luca Martinelli, creative director and founder of Sewer Nation, gave RUFA students an overview of artists and companies engaged in artistic and creative research with I.A. and blockchain.
We analysed together past and still ongoing projects, highlighting the difference between the use of blockchain for the simple digital certification of physical works, its use for the distribution of natively digital works, and advanced uses of blockchain.
We shared definitions from international experts on the terms cryptoart, nft and blockchain art, discussed the ethical issues in the use of A.I., and conducted practical tests in order to increase familiarity with these tools.
Finally, we analysed how blockchain and A.I. are two pieces of a deeper digital cultural revolution that is changing the way we experience the concept of life, interaction, spaces and digital property.
