An opportunity open to all RUFA students to experience a transformative journey that, through movement and creativity, helps develop awareness, expression, and connection.
Tuesday, April 15 – 5:30 PM – RUFA Space – Pastificio Cerere (Via degli Ausoni, 7). Language: Italian.
Free access upon registration: fill out the form below.
The session, lasting approximately 2 hours, will offer an exploratory experience that combines movement, emotion, and awareness, guided by certified psychologist and dance therapist Luisa Vagniluca.
Through body-based and creative techniques, participants will explore the language of the body as a tool for expression and deep connection with themselves and others.
Dance therapy, integrating psychological and artistic elements, allows participants to work on personal and relational themes, promoting psycho-physical well-being, stress management, and the development of authentic self-expression.
This initiative is part of a broader RUFA program focused on placing mental well-being at the center of its community. We believe that supporting students’ psycho-physical health is a fundamental component of both artistic and personal development.
Objectives
The aim of the workshop is to foster self-expression and creativity in a safe and welcoming environment, enhance body awareness and movement exploration, and create a relational experience that values the group as a resource.
Participants will experience greater harmony between body and mind, gain tools to express and manage their emotions through movement, and strengthen their sense of well-being and vitality in everyday life.
Methodology
The workshop combines elements of expressive-relational dance therapy and contemporary dance, focusing on the essential and spontaneous nature of movement.
It encourages a wide range of communicative and creative possibilities within the group, offering a meaningful contribution to self-care, body awareness, and movement expression.
Planned Activities
The workshop is structured in four main phases:
❯ an initial body warm-up session
❯ a central phase, more interactive and relational, featuring motor dialogues in pairs and group settings
❯ a final phase in which a collective dance is created from the gestures and movements of all participants
❯ a brief closing circle to share the experience
The activities do not require any specific skills or prior experience and will be adapted to the needs of each participant.
Target audience
The workshop is open to all RUFA students, with no previous experience required.
It is especially recommended for those who wish to improve their connection with their body and better manage their emotions.
