Lorenzo Raffi was born in Rome in 1986 and is a ‘Netrunner’ with a degree in Graphic and Multimedia Design and a Masters in XR Technology from MIT.
He is currently CEO of Edge Lab, a software house that deals with new technologies for Industry 4.0. He has worked in Silicon Valley developing Mixed Reality prototypes and studying real-time rendering methods for its future applications, not only in the entertainment field but also in the film and television industry.
He developed the patent for the Virtual Reality Bus in Rome, the first of its kind, and is Co-Founder and Creative Director of Invisible Cities. He is currently Virtual Production Supervisor of famous Italian TV shows, including the Rai Uno programmes Ulisse, Il Piacere della Scoperta and Super Quark hosted by Alberto and Piero Angela. He is also an Authorised Unreal Engine Instructor and partner of Epic Games.
