After finishing his studies, Gentili collaborated for three years with the Faculty of Architecture of the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, giving a significant contribution to the “Architectural Design” course. In 1997 he became professor of “Methodology of Design” at the Academy of Fine Arts in Catanzaro. In the same years he has participated in numerous public competitions including the International Architecture Competition “New York Central Park” and the Competition “Expansion of the El Prado Museum” in Madrid; he has exhibited in major Italian museums such as the Palazzo delle Esposizioni and the Palazzo Ruspoli; he has written for magazines such as Mondo Arte, Marmor and Controspazio. Since 1998 he has been working as a freelancer, dealing with the redevelopment and interior design of prestigious hotels, restaurants, wine bars, discos and stores in the capital. He conceives interior architecture in a new way: rigorous and easy, sophisticated and pleasant at the same time. Since 2011 he is a teacher of “Design” at RUFA – Rome University of Fine Arts, where he teaches his students his “know how” and the valuable skills acquired over the years.
