Andrea Mennella, born in Rome on 20/12/1973, has always pursued the dream of fashion.
He took his first steps in the world of television, initially as a runner at ‘Pearson Television’ until he became producer Thierry Ventouras’ right-hand man.
He then began working for Francesca Assumma. He followed all the characters in their stable and it was there that he introduced a novelty, namely that of dressing all the clients who were hosted in the various television programmes. In 2002, he met Francesca Neri at the height of her career and became her personal stylist for more than 10 years.
At the same time, he collaborated with “Photomovie”, an agency in Milan, for photo shoots for magazines such as “Io donna”, “GQ”, “Tu Style”, “Natural Style” and working with the most important photographers of the time, such as Leibovitz with whom he shot Francesca Neri in Fendi. From 2012 to 2015 he returned to TV as a collaborator and author. He worked with several production companies such as Ballandi, Endemol and La Fascino.
In 2016 he started working for an international agency in Rome that deals with the endorsement of actresses/actresses and luxury brands such as Valentino, Dior, Balmain, Schiaparelli, etc.
He has dressed Italian actors of the calibre of Isabella Ferrari, Vittoria Puccini, Margherita Buy, Pierfrancesco Favino, Beppe Fiorello, Valeria Golino, Matilde Gioli and many others.
In 2018, he met Laura Pausini, it was love at first sight and he became her official personal stylist, accompanying her around the world: a World Tour, the Grammys, Latin Grammy, Billboard, three Sanremo, the Golden Globes, until May 2021 with the Oscar nomination, David di Donatello and the filming of the first DocuFilm, in collaboration with Amazon Prime.
He followed the styling of Mara Venier for Domenica In (2022/2023 season).
Since January 2022 he has been The Jackal’s stylist and followed the styling of Ciro Priello and Fabio Balsamo for the 4th season of the Sky programme “Name That Tune – Indovina La Canzone”. He has collaborated with ‘Grazia’ magazine on ‘Vote the Look’ and is stylist for: Chiara Francini for the 73rd edition of the Sanremo Festival and for Drag Race Italia (season 2), Sandra Milo for Quelle Brave Ragazze (season 2), Caterina Balivo, Nunzia De Girolamo and Serena Bortone on RAI.
In his agency, in addition to Laura Pausini, he takes care of the image of Lunetta Savino, Ilaria Spada, Isabella Ragonese, Lucia Ocone, Claudia Pandolfi, Tosca D’Aquino, Giulio Berruti, Kim Rossi Stuart, Flora Canto, Roberta Lanfranchi and Ludovica Francesconi, Sandra Milo, Lorena Cesarini, Giuseppe Zeno, Marco Bocci, Laura Chiatti, Alessandro Terzigni, Francesca Neri, Elisabetta Gregoraci (following her in her fashion campaigns).
