Alida Massari

Alida Massari was born in Rome where she qualified in art at high school and then went on to complete a specialization in illustration at the European Institute of Design.
After her studies, she started working in the art field creating backgrounds and pictorial animations for tv, interactive games, cd rom and cartoons.
From 2001 she has been working ,exclusively, as an illustrator.
She has illustrated many picture books, pop up books, covers, games, cards, calendars, tales for magazines.
She collaborates with many international publishers among which:Lion Hudson, Usborne, Harper Collins, Salariya, National Geographic, De Agostini, Rusconi, Rcs, Kar Ben Publishing, Coppenrath Verlag, and many others.
Her books, have been translated in numerous countries.
Moreover, over the years, she has taken part in many collective illustration exhibitions in Italy and abroad.
