I represent the air that is movement, freedom, and gives the feeling of flowing; the wind in Greek is anemo, from which the word soul derives. I search for the essence of things through gesture and the use of colour, I work on compositions that awaken and explore the individuality of the stroke, and the possibilities given by lines. I create a space that recalls delicacy and makes the viewer feel suspended. A space that touches lightly, in which to find truth, kindness and sensitivity. I consider painting a poetic action that stems from a meditative action, which means it creates an access to my emotional self, and becomes a journey and inner flight.
