Paola Centamore was born in spring in Sicily. She studied Graphic Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Catania and then specialised in Visual and Innovation design at Rufa. She lives and works in Parma as Art Director and Digital Designer. He deals with communication, in the beautiful sense of the word. She builds usable brands and services that can make people’s experience unique. Analysis, understanding and reorganisation are at the basis of his being a designer. Beautiful people, food and laughter are the things that make her happy.

Paola’s project is not only a communications and visual design dissertation, but a journey that represents herself, the place where she grew up, Sicily, her origins and her desire to learn about and try out those products that have always formed part of her traditions.
The student is very close to her own roots, but has managed to find an evocative method for communicating them. The first part of her final project sets out to explain how traditions originated in Sicily and what a Food Truck is. The second part deals with the Communication Strategies put into practice, starting from an idea that leads to a project with all the intervening stages, encompassing Brand Identity and concluding this journey with social communication.
