Degree course: Cinema

Nicole Turi embarked on her journey into the cinematic universe at the age of 15, when winning a national screenwriting competition ignited her passion for the seventh art. This early success drove her to explore the world of cinema in all its facets, dedicating herself with determination to directing and writing.

Her academic journey includes graduating with honors from RUFA, followed by further training at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. These experiences allowed her to immerse herself in film sets, taking on diverse roles and enriching her artistic vision.

A fundamental part of her creative approach is her interest in the intersection of cinema, psychology, and neuroscience—a field of study that has deeply influenced her work and led her to write the essay “Dimenticavo d’essere al cinema”.

Her graduation short film, “Il volto di Capgras”, achieved international distribution with Esen Studios and received numerous nominations at film festivals in Italy, India, Austria, America, and the United States. Subsequently, Nicole directed commercials and short films, including “Colpo Mancato”, currently in post-production, and an episode of the web series “Jeong Game”, for which she also wrote the series concept.

With an artistic vision that blends narrative sensitivity and intellectual exploration, Nicole Turi continues to delve into the emotional and psychological potential of cinema.
