CALL
The Academy of Fine Arts of Catania and Ragusa Foto Festival launch the third edition of the Call addressed to Fine Arts Academies, ISIA, Italian Universities and public and private tertiary institutions, to promote the most innovative research of young authors trained within their courses that evoke the theme of the 11th edition of the Festival. A special jury, composed of leading exponents in the world of visual arts, will decide on the basis of expressive quality and artistic research, the 12 finalist projects and among them 4 winners.
Each Institution – Academy of Fine Arts, ISIA, University Level Photography Course, Institutions for the Promotion of Photography – may participate by selecting participating students (min. 1 – max. 4) with their projects related to the proposed theme. All regularly enrolled students whose final dissertation (Thesis) will be submitted no earlier than the autumn session of September/October 2022 may participate. The Academy of Fine Arts of Catania, under the coordination of lecturer Rosario Antoci, will take care of receiving the projects selected by the individual institutions, which they will send to a ypiacall@abacatania.it, no later than Saturday 8 July 2023.

Sunday 23 July 2023, the list of selected projects will be announced at a special talk in Ragusa Ibla during the opening days of the Ragusa Foto Festival, scheduled from Thursday 20 to Sunday 23 July.
