Paola Manfroni is a founding partner of Marimo | Brandlife designers, advertising agency founded in Rome in 2007.
Marimo was born from a group of creatives and accounts from the common experience in McCann Erickson – the agency that in those years managed Coca Cola, L’Oréal, Vodafone, – and where they learned the Anglo-Saxon culture of brand communication , working with international clients such as General Motors, Unilever, Esso, Mastercard. That lesson is crossed with a typically Italian inspiration generated by the campaigns for Rai canon, That’s Amore and Sofficini Findus.
In Marimo, Paola Manfroni contributes to creating a new formula, an ability to communicate “above the line” with every traditional and non-traditional media tool, and with every piece of “below the line”. Thus European campaign for Bertolli was born, the communication of the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy, the launch of the Barilla restaurant in New York, the repositioning of Grancereale, campaigns for television channels such as Fox and Rai.
Paola has been the vice president of the Italian Art Directors Club for the last three years, helping to reorient its objectives with the dissemination of the ethical manifesto and opening to design and new creative professions.
