Having fled Rome, I have lived in the remote countryside of Viterbo for years.
Enrolled in the faculty of electronic engineering at the university of ‘Roma Tre’, in 2000 I rashly decided to abandon my studies 6 exams before graduation to devote myself to 3D graphics as a self-taught: 3D graphics schools did not yet exist.
Being pointed out as crazy by family and friends, I found refuge in rendering.
The fields of application as a freelance professional were the most diverse: architectural projects (archaeological sites for Techvision), engineering projects (ESA satellite animations), documentaries (Voyager for La7), commercials (Cartoons on the Bay for RAI), and finally Games prototypes. And so do softwares: Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Cinema4D, Unity.
I manage the Digital Leaf portal of online courses on 3D graphics with the ambitious goal of giving meaning to polygons and ethics to rendering.
