We will discuss all of this with internationally renowned curator Lorenzo Benedetti, professor of Contemporary Art Languages and Art Criticism for the new RUFA Master’s degree in Art Curating and Management.

Lorenzo Benedetti
Curator and contemporary art critic. Co-director of the Advanced Course in Visual Art at the Ratti Foundation in Como. He has been director of the De Appel Art Centre in Amsterdam, of the De Vleeshal Art Center, Middelburg, the Netherlands, and of the Volume! Foundation in Rome.
He has been curator at the Marta Herford Museum, Germany, the Kunstmuseum St. Gallen, Switzerland, and La Kunsthalle, Mulhouse, France. He curated the Dutch Pavilion for the 55th Venice Biennale in 2013.
In 2005 he founded the Sound Art Museum in Rome, a space dedicated to sound in visual art. He has published numerous articles on the history of 20th century exhibitions and curators. He studied art history at La Sapienza University in Rome.
