Open House Rome is back a year after the last edition: the project created by a group of architects and communicators with a focus on social and cultural innovation.
In just one weekend we celebrate design and architecture in the capital. Some 200 sites from all eras and usually inaccessible are opened to the public through free guided tours. The aim of the organisers is to listen again to the urban beat.

RUFA is an official partner of the event and for this particular occasion the Pastificio Cerere, in the heart of the San Lorenzo district, will open its doors.
On 2 October it will be possible to visit one of the capital’s most fascinating and controversial places, where art, culture and industry come together.
In the premises once used for making pasta and processing wheat, knowledge is now mixed in an experimentation that looks not only at materials but also at experience. In continuity with the research carried out in the 1970s by the sculptors of the Scuola di San Lorenzo, the Pastificio Cerere has been transformed into a temple of contemporary art, in the name of education.
The official programme has been available on the kermesse’s official website for a few days now, with all the information you need to reach the site and a careful and precise description of how to get there.
For all visits, tours and events, reservations are required after registering on the Open House website, indicating name, surname, date of birth, email and telephone number.
After registering, visitors can book their visit and receive a confirmation email. Once at the entrance, access will be gained by scanning the QRpass (QR-code) located on the poster that can be downloaded from the personal area from 29 September and which will in any case be brought printed by the volunteers on the day of the visit.
For participation in visits and events, with the exception of open-air tours, there is a requirement for Covid-19 Green Certification (Green pass). A mask must be worn at all times and a distance of one metre between participants must be respected.
The Covid-19 Green Certification can be downloaded by those who have been vaccinated, by those who have obtained a negative molecular/antigenic test result and by those who have recovered from the virus. Vaccinations carried out abroad will also be accepted if properly certified.
