Filippo Orlandi was born in Monterotondo, in the province of Rome on December 27, 1994. He graduated as a graphic designer and then pursued his studies at the Rome University of Fine Arts earning the Master’s degree in “Graphic Design” and “Animation and Special Eects”. While attending the postgraduate programme, Filippo began to work as a graphic designer and digital compositor. The internship at Visualogie (leading vfx studio) allows him to work as a composer for the TV series “Gomorra 4” and “The Name of the Rose”. After his studies, Filippo remains in Rome trying to make his way in the world of graphics. For almost 2 years he has been working with Studio Polpo as motion designer and animator, taking part in projects such as the late show CCN on the TV network Comedy Central Italia, Pigiama Rave for the television channel Rai 4 and the Italian rapper Carl Brave’s music video “Fratellì”. He is also active in the social scene: in his YouTube channel called Filottete, which counts over 10,000 subscribers, he talks about cinema.
