From March 15 to 19, the exhibition by Lorenzo Cappella and Debora Barile will be held, with the curatorship entrusted to Beatrice Levorato. A “double” that sees as protagonists two students of the third year of the Bachelor of Arts in Visual Arts RUFA: the first of Painting and the second of Sculpture, ideally united by the theme of the project. “Nostalgia of the Present”: it is a path that intends to transform the moment one lives into a memory, to be internalized, processed and transmitted to others.
Lorenzo Cappella offers himself with views on the edge of abstraction, generating a set of paintings that tell about him. Debora Barile decides to exhibit a crossable installation and photomontages presented as postcards. Telling about their lives, art becomes a method to cope with lived experiences.
The RUFA Space continues the activity of cultural dissemination, inherent in its genetic code, an agora open to the city, to the breaths and rhythms of the territory. A “square” in which to create exhibitions, performances, master classes that enclose and present the culture of the Academy conceived and proposed by the artists of the new generation. Those who, from now to the next years, will contribute to feed the research and experimentation in the artistic field.
The exhibition can be visited from March 15 to 19 from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, via degli Ausoni 7. On March 16 at 5:00 pm the artists will present the exhibition to the public. The presentation can be followed via Webex by connecting to this link.
