connected from the living room of one’s own home has opened up scenarios that until now have not been sufficiently considered. The health emergency, from this point of view, has been able to bring the world closer, allowing students, the future protagonists of the creative industry, to generate new opportunities in comparison. RUFA, of course, has also made the most of this scenario by organising or participating in a series of top-level meetings, all just a click away.
On Tuesday 15 December at 6 pm, a new concretization of this approach with the inauguration of this cycle of AIAP international talks “Riconnessioni in corso”, with the participation of the RUFA lecturer and coordinator of the Visual and innovation design course, Mario Rullo. Live streaming from New York it will be possible to listen to the successful experiences of Louise Fili, a star among visual designers, universally recognized for her elegant use of typography and the timeless quality of her design. Her work is often inspired by her love for Italy, modernism and European art deco styles. Interviewed by Mario Rullo, designer Louise Fili will explore her professional experiences: from her collaboration with Herbert Lubalin to over two thousand book covers for Pantheon Books, not forgetting packaging and visual identity projects on the theme of food and design books edited together with her husband Steven Heller.
The “lectio magistralis”, but in a more innovative and modern dimension of the term, is is an initiative by AIAP members of Lazio. To participate, all you need to do is connect to the AIAP channels YouTube and Facebook. The talk is open to everyone and does not require registration.
