The project “Sgarbatellum” continues in the name of success: the film festival located in the suggestive setting of the Arena Garbatella in Rome. The festival, curated by director Alessandro Piva and produced as every year by Olivud and Seminal Film, was inaugurated by Gianni Amelio and during the final weekend, between Friday 11 and Sunday 13 September, will be attended by screenwriter Maurizio Braucci, winner of the David di Donatello 2020 for best non-original screenplay, editor Aline Hervé, director Matteo Garrone, actor Salvatore D’Onofrio and, in streaming video, Marco D’Amore director and protagonist of “L’Immortale”, working in Estonia.
The last evening of the 2020 edition of “Sgarbatellum” includes the usual appointment with the showcase of Molise Cinema: the artistic director of the festival, Federico Pommier Vincelli, will sum up and project one of the shorts in official selection. On Sunday 13 September, the director of RUFA – Rome University of Fine Arts, architect Fabio Mongelli, will also be present. After a brief greeting, he will present the short-film OFF THE GRID, made by the students of the Master’s degree program in Computer Animation and Visual Effects Maya Macini, Alessandro Dattola, Yahor Palishchuk, Marcello Ruvolo, Andrea Bava, Annarita Pisano, Alessandra De Propris, under the coordination of professor Pietro Ciccotti. This participation is part of a wider collaboration between the Arena Garbatella and RUFA.
To access the cinema you must wear the mask, which can be paraded when you reach the seat. The relatives and family members living together can sit side by side, while for the others it is obligatory to keep free seats on their right and left.
