The program #OfficineRufa continues its appointments proposing a meeting with Jean-Marc Caimi and Valentina Piccinni around the word Rhome.
Rhome is the title of the latest of the photographic book by Caimi and Piccinni, the second chapter of a long-term project on three cities in transition (Naples, Rome, Istanbul): vulnerable cities, in balance, always exposed to mutation. A photographic journey through Rome that has brought out microcosms that intertwine in a domino effect of encounters and situations. Places, moments of private life, atmospheres: a scenario outside of stereotypes, far from the tourist imaginary, faced without filters. The meeting will be moderated by Alessandro Carpentieri and Nicolas Martino.
Jean-Marc Caimi and Valentina Piccinni have been collaborating for several years, creating documentary projects as well as intimate and personal photography. Their reportages appear regularly in the international press and media. www.caimipiccinni.com
