The Teatro Brancaccio in Rome hosted the award ceremony of the short films in competition at the thirteenth edition of “48 Hour Film Project Italia”.
The enthusiasm of the participants was overwhelming, great was the surprise and satisfaction of the guests and professionals of international cinema present in the hall: Cristina Comencini, Pino Pellegrino, Dimitri Capuani, José Luis Alcaine, Aldo Signoretti, Jany Temime. Oscar-winning sound editor Mark Mangini, screenwriter Francesco Bruni, editor Walter Fasano, make-up artist Maurizio Silvi, and Jethro Tull’s leader Ian Anderson expressed their opinion at a distance.
RUFA has been cultural partner of the festival, sponsoring the scholarship for the award of a special prize. And it was the RUFA teacher, as well as director and screenwriter, Giacomo Ciarrapico who awarded this prestigious prize to the short film “Il bambino polyifonico” by the team “Comme tu Veux”.
Many guests took part in the evening: Francesco Rutelli, creator of Videocittà, the deputy mayor of Rome Capital Luca Bergamo, the deputy director of Rai Movie Cecilia Valmarana, the athrtistic director of Teatro Brancaccio Alessandro Longobardi.
The initiative was organized by “Le Bestevem”, and was an integral part of the program of “Videocittà” and “Contemporaneamente Roma 2018”, promoted by the Department of Cultural Growth of Roma Capitale and realized in collaboration with SIAE.
