PLAYING MEMORIES

RUFA is the implementing body for the Playing Memories project.
The PLAYING MEMORIES project involves the creation of artistic residencies for the development and execution of multidisciplinary artistic performances on an international scale. It is a unique project as it facilitates cultural, artistic, and human exchange, as well as the sharing of ideas, skills, and inspirations among young artists from different countries.

Eight different artistic residencies lasting fifteen days will be organized, each led by a leading artist and consisting of a variable number of eight to fifteen performers, including dancers, musicians, visual artists, photographers, set designers, and other artistic figures, selected throughout Italy via a call-for-artist, starting from July 2024. During the two-week residency, the team, hosted within one of the partner institutions, will engage in an intense creative process to design, set up, and present their original and unprecedented multidisciplinary performance, resulting from teamwork and collective creation. All residencies and their related performances will be filmed by a television crew for the production of a TV docuseries to be published on a prestigious international streaming platform.

The Playing Memories project, which sees the participation of RUFA as the implementing body, is carried out thanks to the operational synergy established by five different institutions in the AFAM sector and is funded under the resources provided by the directoral decree 124/2023 of the Ministry of University and Research, INTAFAM 00021, CUP B93B24000010001.
