On 24 – 25 – 26 May 2024 RUFA was present with its students from GD-Comics and Illustration at the ARF – the Comics Festival. RUFA’s young illustrators devoted themselves to LIVE SKETCHING over the course of the three-day event, and were available to spectators to answer any questions and curiosity.
ARF! is the festival for those who love, read, write, draw and breathe comics, which takes place at the former Mattatoio / Città dell’Altra Economia.
Three days of Stories, Signs & Drawings, a total immersion in Comics through an incredible variety of exhibitions, unmissable meetings-events, international guests, lectio magistralis with the great masters.
Among the countless activities and experiences on offer, it was possible to see RUFA artists at work in real time, designers and graphic designers in the world of comics and illustration, able to shape their stroke and technique to tell stories. The students were available to the audience to answer questions and curiosity about their path, their technique or their academic experience at RUFA.
Among the RUFA students of GD-Comics and Illustration involved: Leonardo Mannelli, Elena Musto, Francesco Mari, Matilde Vitiello, Annalisa Borgo, Sara Acciacca, Nathan Fabbri, Cecilia Peleggi, Chiara Dionisi, Mattia D’urzo, Sophia Rahbaoui, Andrea Camaioni, Lorenzo Gallo.
The event also saw the extraordinary participation of a team of RUFA Photography students , who were commissioned to officially document the event: Luca Carbone, Desireè Del Giudice, Veronica Di Renzo, Angelica Paoletti, Chiara Proietti, Antonio Santoro.
