Final exhibition by second-year students of the Master’s programme in Fine Arts, curated by Anja Foerschner.

This exhibition showcases works of the participants of RUFA Master’s programme in Fine Arts. This programme comprises practical and theoretical training in a variety of artistic media such as painting, sculpture, printmaking, sound art and performance. Students are guided to find their own creative persona in a strongly stimulating and practical environment. The works in this exhibition speak of the individual approaches in both traditional and new artistic fields with their authors transforming the perception of reality by creating new aesthetics and many different worlds.
Anja Foerschner
Anja Foerschner holds a Master’s degree in Art Pedagogy, Art History, and Philosophy (2008) and a PhD in art history from Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich (2011). For her dissertation she investigated the emotion of disgust in Paul McCarthy’s performative installations and their multi-layered intertwinement with Western consumerism and entertainment culture. Foerschner worked with institutes such as Munich’s Haus der Kunst, the Getty Research Institute in Los Angeles, PerformanceHUB Belgrade, and the NODE Center for Curatorial Studies in Berlin.
