From RUFA to Federalberghi: Student Talent Conquers Merano

Design and Talent: The Winning Logo for Federalberghi’s National Assembly Bears the Signature of Alberto Canali.

Once again this year, RUFA renews its collaboration with Federalberghi for an exclusive contest dedicated to designing the logo for the National Assembly, which in 2025 will be held in the picturesque setting of Merano.
Second-year Graphic Design students, under the guidance of Professor Paolo Buonaiuto, enthusiastically took on this challenge, individually developing as many as 30 different logo proposals. The goal was to interpret the identity of the Merano area, highlighting both its landscape and cultural characteristics.

After a careful selection process, five finalists were chosen, whose proposals stood out for their originality and adherence to the contest brief. The talented selected students are: Afranio Di Veroli, Alexander Cocchini, Elisa Crispolti, Riccardo Di Pietro, and Alberto Canali.
Alberto Canali’s logo took first place and was declared the winner by Federalberghi representatives. As recognition for his excellent work, Alberto was awarded a prize of 1,000 euros.

All five finalist students were invited to participate in the Board of Directors meeting on February 12, where they had the opportunity to present their ideas. On this occasion, Alberto Canali illustrated his project, further solidifying the success of his proposal. The other finalists, as a token of appreciation for their commitment and talent, received a selection of books offered by Federalberghi.
A valuable educational and professional experience for RUFA students, who had the chance to engage with a real-world project, putting their skills and creativity to the test in a concrete setting.
