La Realtà che “non” Esiste – VII edition

The contest “La realtà che NON esiste” is an initiative launched by One More Pictures with Rai Cinema, aimed at young screenwriters under 35, with the goal of exploring new narrative and digital languages.
The competition aims not only to discover new talents but also to create a social impact, inviting reflection and debate.

Theme 2025: “Io, nessuno o centomila”

This year’s edition is inspired by the work of Luigi Pirandello and addresses the fragmentation of identity in the digital age. How do we build and live our multiple identities online? What are the risks related to false identities, cyberbullying, and digital manipulation? A stimulating challenge for those who wish to depict the contemporary world through the language of cinema.

How to Participate

The contest is open to individual authors or pairs who wish to engage in writing an original screenplay for a short film lasting between 10 and 20 minutes.
Applications are open from October 17, 2024, to March 5, 2025 and can be submitted online on the official website.
The winning project of the contest will then be produced by One More Pictures and Rai Cinema with a multi-platform launch.

The linear projects resulting from the previous five editions have been presented as special events at the Venice International Film Festival and are available on Rai Play.
