Filming Italy Los Angeles 2025

Also this year, RUFA offers its students the exclusive opportunity to follow Filming Italy Los Angeles 2025 through a free partnership. Thanks to reserved access to the Festival’s streaming platform, students will be able to attend masterclasses with actors and professionals from the international film industry, enriching their academic journey with exclusive content.

Filming Italy Los Angeles, now in its 10th edition, will be held from February 19 to 22, 2025 at the Italian Cultural Institute in Los Angeles. The initiative also aims to support emerging young talents by promoting and showcasing their works, including documentaries and short films, thereby increasing their visibility.

Thanks to this collaboration, RUFA students will have the opportunity to access a limited-entry virtual room created specifically for the Festival. Through an exclusive link, they will be able to remotely attend masterclasses with actors and key figures from the Italian and international film industry, experiencing a high-level educational event directly from their screens.

The festival will be an event dedicated to inclusion, renewal, youth, equality of human and civil rights, emotion, the return to movie theaters, the environment, sports, and the 360° promotion of TV series, films, and cinema industry protagonists.

 
Filming Italy Los Angeles will be organized under the auspices of the Consulate General of Italy in Los Angeles,
in partnership with APA and SNCCI; with the sponsorship of: the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, ANICA, in collaboration with CINECITTÀ, the Ministry of Culture – MiC, ITA, the Experimental Center of Cinematography, ANEC, 100 Autori, ROMA LAZIO FILM COMMISSION, CONI, WIF LA and WIF Italy, CNA, and Fare Ambiente. Filming Italy Los Angeles is also twinned with Filming Italy Sardegna, dedicated to Italian cinema, under the patronage of the Directorate General for Cinema of MiC.

The event promotes Italian cinema worldwide, encourages international co-productions, and represents an important opportunity for young talents and industry professionals to connect.
