Liza Tabagari’s short film at the MedFilm Festival 2024

RUFA at the MedFilm Festival 2024: student Liza Tabagari’s short film selected.

The short film “LIFETIME MEASURE” created by Liza Tabagari, a master’s student in Film Arts, has been selected for the prestigious 30th edition of the MedFilm Festival in Rome. The event, running from November 7 to 17, 2024, will host screenings in several distinguished venues across the city, including the MAXXI Museum, The Space Cinema – Moderno Rome, Casa del Cinema, and Teatro Palladium. Liza’s short film will be shown on Monday, November 11, at 5:30 PM at The Space Cinema Moderno (Piazza della Repubblica).

The Short Film and Its Story

Liza’s short film tells a story of connection and humanity. The protagonist is a young filmmaker embarking on a quest to find a stranger and document his story. Captivated by the voice of an elderly man she heard in a bookstore—knowing neither his name nor face, only the memory of his voice—she sets off on a journey to find him. After weeks of searching, she finally locates him. What begins as a simple mission turns into a deep friendship, shared through laughter, tears, and stories during writing sessions. The film goes beyond a traditional documentary to capture the true essence of an unexpected bond.
