On Thursday 30 November, we welcomed in RUFA digital content creator Luciano Rizzo, who introduced Graphic Design students to the interesting reality of Etichetta.it, a company specialising in the production of adhesive labels on reels and customised sheet labels.
It was an exciting in-depth meeting that gave Graphic Design students the opportunity to come into contact with a label manufacturer active in multiple sectors, producing refined and sophisticated looking labels for beverages or spirits, or simple four-colour printed labels for the industrial sector. The activity was coordinated by the Packaging teacher Malica Worms, art director and graphic designer.
The quality of digital printing is guaranteed by the use of modern HP Indigo presses and, thanks to the latest finishing technologies, etichetta.it is able to cover a wide range of needs. The company also provides a team of highly specialised graphic designers, ready to provide file correction services, and also offers the possibility of requesting a graphic creation service for products that do not yet have a design or need restyling.
The company uses innovative technology to reduce waste: leftover off-cuts are vacuumed and collected using a special system to make new siliconised backing, or pallets on which parent reels are loaded. All paper materials are FSC certified;
Etichetta.it allows you to choose a soluble or removable adhesive for eco-labels, so that you can easily remove the label from the product and differentiate its disposal, and offers digital printing of eco-friendly labels on reels with low CO2 emissions, also allowing you to order small and medium quantities, thus avoiding any waste of paper and adhesive.
