The CEO of Plena Education Alessandro Montel represented RUFA in the meeting with representatives of the Hainan Normal University (HNU) in China.
Close and fruitful talks, in the name of cooperation, have taken place over the past few days between the Plena Education delegation, led by CEO Alessandro Montel, who took part in the summit on behalf of RUFA, and that of the Hainan Normal University’s Office for International Cooperation and Exchange, headed by executive Bai Xianlian
«RUFA – remarked Bai Xianliang – is located in the centre of an economic and cultural context that has made Italy great and has been able to achieve great educational results in painting, sculpture, artistic design, photography, fashion and, more generally, in contemporary forms of expression. The Hainan Normal University is a key university in Hainan Province and the Haishi Academy of Fine Arts is a reference point for cultivating and training artistic talents. On the basis of the relationship that has been established, the two schools are ready to seek common ground to develop educational visions jointly, while respecting their different cultural identities. In the future, new master courses and exchange programmes between students and teachers will be developed. The aim is to give voice to a different comparison in the complex process of learning art».
Alessandro Montel pledged to do his utmost to ensure that “the two universities continue to deepen cooperation”.
It was with this in mind that, during the talks, the advantages and specialisations that Plena Education and RUFA are now able to guarantee were presented.
«RUFA – said Alessandro Montel himself – is an institution rich in innovation, the bearer of a relevant artistic DNA. We are looking forward to the visit of the HNU delegation scheduled for next September in Rome to make this path that sees us walking together on the same path even more rooted. This first meeting has been organised above all to decree the start of a ‘double degree’ university training programme in interior design’, already approved by the Chinese Ministry of Education last April. The aim of the institutions involved is to improve global understanding and promote exchanges and cooperation. This autumn, Heinan’s new students will begin their university studies: young design talents with vision and high artistic standards».
