Inclusive urban spaces, architecture and design objects for women and gender minorities.
The cities in which we live present an urban design that is systematically exclusionary towards those people who fall into categories that do not conform to the dominant model; the needs, interests and habits of women, girls and gender minorities take a back seat and this conditions their access to work and schooling, restricting their freedom, safety and health and constituting an insurmountable obstacle to gender equity. This also extends to buildings and most objects of use where there is generally no special attention to the needs of the above-mentioned groups.
OBJECTIVE OF THE CALL
To build a research laboratory on the theme of Inclusive Urbanism, Architecture and Design, open to the community, within the complex topic of Gender Equality.
In particular, to collect reports of urban spaces, buildings, and objects of use in which the character of inclusiveness can be clearly seen, and in which each individual can feel free to move around easily at any time of day or night without discomfort or fear, pursuing his or her own personal and social fulfilment. It is no coincidence that the call is named after Lina Bo Bardi, a woman who in the world of architecture is a paradigm of freedom and realisation of her own talent and aspirations.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
It is possible to participate with one’s own projects and works or by submitting projects and works by others, national or international.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE
Individuals or groups interested in the subject – students, teachers, scholars, professionals, associations and enthusiasts -.

Two graphic works (Drawings and/or images – Size A4 and/or A2 – Format.pdf.
One typed report (Max 2000 characters – Format.pdf)
