THE CITY THAT REDUCES, RECOVERS, RECYCLES.
10 – 11 February, BASE Milano
Milano Circolare is an open event dedicated to circular fashion and design in the city. The programme was co-created together with 100 realities, active in Milan in the fashion and design sector, which responded to an open call, including Repubblica del Design, RUFA and Scuola Politecnica Design.
The event is organised as part of the Aria Clima Plan: the Milan City Council’s strategy for reducing air pollution and protecting health and the environment.
Milano Circolare is the starting point to elaborate an Action Plan on Circular Economy in Milan.
The aim is to help public and private actors transform the immense reservoir of urban waste and refuse into a resource, to reduce the consumption of raw materials and energy, and to create new job and business opportunities. The project is an initiative of the Municipality of Milan, Department for Economic Development and Labour Policies, realised in collaboration with NEMA – Rete Nuove Manifatture within the Horizon 2020 CENTRINNO project.
