RUFA met over two weeks with the very young students of the Istituto I.I.S. “A.Frammartino” di Monterotondo and from the Liceo Scientifico Archimede Pacinotti of Rome within the PCTO programme – Pathways for Transversal Skills and Orientation (ex Alternanza Scuola Lavoro).
A highly innovative teaching methodology introduced in 2003 that allows high school students to combine their schooling with a period of practical experience at a public or private institution, translating theoretical concepts into practical notions gained in the field. Meeting young creative minds has been an incredible source of inspiration and discussion, a first contact with the world of work that will prove fundamental in guiding students in their future choices.
From Oct. 10 to Oct. 24, 2022, RUFA hosted 22 students from class V in graphic design at Liceo Artistico Frammartino in Monterotondo for a course of Shooting and Editing Techniques, curated by lecturer and director Bruno D’Annunzio. During the week, an introduction to picture storytelling (Subject, Screenplay, Storyboard), the use of a tripod and camera with exercises of various types, filming and editing techniques with major software, titling and editing, final export and projection of processed work was addressed.
Instead, from Oct. 17 to 21, 2022, the protagonists were 20 students from Class III of the Archimede Pacinotti High School of Science in Rome, for a course of 3d modeling with Rhinoceros curated by lecturer and designer Alessio Cremisini.
