Minerva Pictures enters the world of NFT

Minerva Pictures is among the first film companies in Italy and Europe to launch

 
Minerva Pictures-Rarovideo officially enters the world of NFT in partnership with Public Pressure and RUFA – Rome University of Fine Arts.
The historic independent film production and distribution company and multimedia publisher, which has to its credit a film-library of over 2,350 titles, plus a further 2,000 titles under management by partners and associates, has always been at the forefront in the experimentation of creative synergies between innovation and tradition.
In recent years, Minerva Pictures has developed one of the strongest expertise in the digital exploitation of audiovisual content at European level. It is precisely in this direction that the idea of giving life to a wide-ranging project dedicated to the exploration of digital art and, in particular, of NFT, the non-fungible tokens that are capturing the attention of collectors, investors, creatives, large and companies and iconic brands all over the world and used, among a thousand imaginable applications, also for the creation and exchange of digital artworks.

In this perspective, Minerva Pictures has signed a partnership agreement with the Public Pressure platform, founded by Francesca Versace, Giulia Maresca and Sergio Mottola, one of the most promising NFT marketplaces for the music and audiovisual industry at an international level.
The platform is an ecosystem and entertainment ecosystem with the mission to support artists and brands in the creation and distribution of NFT to fans and collectors. The platform is managed and led by a high-profile team of music executives, fashion creatives and experts of blockchain and cryptocurrency.
 

Minerva Pictures has also just inaugurated a partnership with the RUFA, focused on three macro-activities: involvement of RUFA students in the creation of NFT drawn from Minerva content, through work carried out in workshops, contests and exams; creation of NFT drawn from pre-existing works by RUFA students, which Minerva will distribute as a collection on marketplace platforms; digital distribution of short films made by RUFA students on platforms curated or managed by Minerva.

 
The supervision and editorial curatorship of the various NFT projects of Minerva Pictures-Rarovideo will be entrusted to Prof. Bruno Di Marino, curator, expert in visual arts, university lecturer and historian of the moving image.The President of Minerva Pictures, Santo Versace, and CEO, Gianluca Curti, are excited to announce these new collaborations of prestige thanks to which the company, together with its friends at Public Pressure and RUFA will be able to start experimenting with new ways of using, promoting and valorisation of creative content, and of audiovisual content in particular.
