From 16 to 18 June 2022 Sónar+D returns to Barcelona, one of the most anticipated events in Europe for music and innovation enthusiasts.
Sónar+D is an international congress that explores the ways in which creativity is changing our present and creating new futures, in collaboration with researchers, innovators and business leaders. Since 2013, this interdisciplinary gathering has brought together leading artists, creative technologists, musicians, filmmakers, designers, thinkers, scientists, entrepreneurs, makers and hackers in Barcelona to participate in a carefully commissioned programme aimed at inspiring and networking. For thousands of professionals and enthusiasts from more than 100 countries, Sónar+D is a unique and inspiring environment, open and relaxed, where they can discover new innovative work and find opportunities, learn new skills, network and showcase their initiatives.
Four very intense days of talks, demos and workshops, tech shows and exhibitions, immersive experiences, one-on-one mentoring and community meet-ups, and much more.
Participants from the first five years of the event include names such as Björk, Brian Eno, Bruce Sterling, Skrillex, Matthew Herbert and Susan Roger.
Sónar+D takes place every June together with Sónar, the pioneering Advanced Music festival in Barcelona created by Advanced Music, recognised since 1994 as one of the most important events for experimental culture in Europe. It extends the important role of Sónar by surveying emerging artists and languages in the space of creative and technological innovation.
