Today begins the programme of the seventh edition of the “Filming Italy – Los Angeles” Festival, which will be held from February 28th to March 3rd 2022 in Los Angeles. A cultural festival that for years has been committed to promoting Italian cultural growth abroad.
Created and organized by Tiziana Rocca, Agnus Dei and the Italian Cultural Institute Los Angeles, Filming Italy – Los Angeles promotes Italy as a film set and bridge between Italian and American culture, supports Italian cultural growth through its cinema, the internationalization of Italian audiovisual products and supports intercultural relations between the various directors, producers and artists.
More than 50 titles including Italian films, television series, short films and docufilms, many of which are still unpublished all over the world. 26 Masterclasses and several panels with many Italian and international guests and artists, such as Gabriele Muccino, Billy Zane and Vanessa Hudgens.
The future of the seventh art, endangered by the pandemic and the lockdown, will be explored and discussed. A project that was able to see the light also thanks to the Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles, organizer of the Festival in collaboration with Tiziana Rocca, and the great artist Giancarlo Giannini, who this year is the honorary president.
