“Filo”, the leading startup in the production of “IoT” tracking devices with Bluetooth technology, launches the second edition of “Design4Parents” in collaboration with ADI and Maker Faire.
Call for applications Design4Parents
This is the only Italian call for designers, makers and innovators dedicated to the theme of new parenthood.
There is a prize fund of €10,000 divided between the first three winning projects: first prize of €7,000, second prize of €2,000 and third prize of €1,000. Full details of how to participate are available on the design4parents website.
The aim of the competition is to direct the creativity of innovators and startuppers to the development of a object or a service useful to those who become parents for the first time.
Themes of the call
There are two thematic strands guiding the challenge:
– “Daily life at Covid’s time”: how has the pandemic changed the habits and needs of new families?
– “Education&Technology”: how can technology become an ally for children and parents?
The call will be officially presented during the next edition of Maker Faire to be held from 8 to 10 October at the Gazometro in Rome (via del Commercio 9/11) and online at makerfairerome.
The “Filo” team will be present with a stand and will open during the entire event some Q&A moments dedicated to the call which will close on 25 November 2021.
