Roberto Pompili, senior 3D artist with more than 17 years of experience in the field of Computer Graphics, is the protagonist of the next masterclass of the Master of Arts in Computer Animation and Visual Effects, coordinated by professor Pietro Ciccotti.
In this truly exclusive RUFA Experience, we will learn the advanced shading and texturing techniques used in professional pipelines through the use of Substance Painter and Substance Designer. At the same time you will analyze the process of preparation of an asset for the texturing phase, optimizing the UV space and knowing how to add detail to a complex asset with ZBrush. You’ll also understand how to approach the creation of complex PBR materials and how to use them in Render engines like Arnold. But that’s not all. The second part of the Masterclass, scheduled from March 22 to 27, will see the student try his hand with the concepts learned in the previous days, going to work directly on their 3D models under the supervision of the teacher.
