Zètema Progetto Cultura and Roma Capitale promote a communication campaign in support of women victims of male violence and the circuit of municipal anti-violence services, connected to 1522, the national telephone number free and active 24 hours a day, useful to collect requests for help from victims of violence and stalking.
The initiative, supported by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, is ideally linked to the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, which is celebrated every year on November 25th.
The contest is aimed at collecting artistic proposals to select the image that will be used in the campaign “Artists’posters. 1522 – Rome for women”. In any case, 19 other images will be selected for an exhibition scheduled at the Auditorium Parco della Musica from the 23rd to the 29th of November.
The competition is open exclusively to students enrolled in Afam (High artistic and musical training) at university and para university level, as well as to those who have completed this course no more than two years ago. The project aims not only to sensitize the new generations on the theme of gender violence, but also to support 1522 and promote the knowledge of anti-violence services and structures.
