On January 16th, at RUFA Space from 6.00 pm, the inauguration of the collective exhibition MOTUUM curated by Alice Pietrucci will take place.
The protagonists of the exhibition are the works of the third year students of the Photography course who have developed seven installations of participatory art. Cristina Cannistraci, Anna Di Rocco, Amparo Lavezzo, Sonia Bouslama, Amedeo Longo, Rachele Alessandrelli, Nicola Russo, Cristina De Rosa, Fabiana Scattarreggia are the authors who will exhibit the works on the theme “the research carried out by the observer to regain active consciousness and recognize, through his analytical ability, his role and the space/time he physically occupies”.
An analysis, therefore, made by the artists that has as its aim the demolition of a purely self-referential art and that deconstructs contemporary art from the illusion of a system that is incomprehensible and far from our daily life. A game, a discovery, a possibility to make the observer not only an eye but also a body, a gesture, an idea, a game that strikes and amazes him, creating a cognitive awakening and a sense of belonging to the world of contemporary art. An exhibition suitable for anyone who wants to get involved.
The exhibition can be visited from 16 to 21 January 2020 from 10.00 to 6.00 pm, at RUFA Space, Pastificio Cerere Via degli Ausoni 7.
