A unique show, destined to remain impressed in the minds of those who live it; an exceptional place full of history, as only Rome can offer; a positive energy that knows no boundaries, ready to infect all participants in the “Festa di Roma”. RUFA – Rome University of Fine Arts, on the occasion of New Year’s Eve, will contribute to give shape and substance to an unforgettable experience through the realization of the visual of the dj set of Skin, the leader of Skunk Anansie who will perform at the Circo Massimo.
The artistic direction of “Festa di Roma”, thanks to the agreement between RUFA and Teatro di Roma, has entrusted the first year students of the master’s degree in Multimedia arts and design – Virtual reality, coordinated by the lecturer Caterina Tomeo, with the realization of the multimedia project for the famous English star.
The theme of the project will be nature and the various elements that make it up. The visual will consist of a series of very evocative moving images – inspired by the world around man – projected during Skin’s performance on two large video walls.
The work has been realized – with the coordination of lecturers Daniele Spanò and Caterina Tomeo – by students Daniele Falchi, Silvia Parolini, Consuelo Donati, Mirko Pelliccia, Sabrina Coppola, Simone Tecchia, Maria Gavrilova and Tajana Gavric. Responsible for the project is Elisa Pelliccioni. This experience will give them the professional opportunity to confront themselves with an artist of very high level who has always followed the path of contemporaneity and innovation, giving her music the most authentic meaning of experimentation.
