Tracks of Freedom is back. For the third consecutive year, the doors of the SVA – School of Visual Arts in New York are reopened for Master‘s students, particularly for Visual and innovation design. An interchange project that sees the two cultural institutions interact for some time, comparing different training paths and methodologies that allow you to interact at best in the increasingly global world of professions.
Ten days of design work, social and cultural in-depth study, talks by renowned designers and studio visits in the Big Apple, to understand and decipher the future, but also to put in practice what you learn. New York, a global symbol of political, economic, social and cultural freedom, thus becomes the ideal scenario for gathering the energy and dreams of students. The aim is to represent the creativity of the “City that never sleeps”, as Frank Sinatra said. The iteration includes the use of all the techniques and languages of contemporary communication: brand identity, advertising, unconventional, motion graphic, interaction and multimedia design, photography and video. But also the extemporaneous inventiveness of those who will experience this innovative path.
Tracks of Freedom is not only an advanced training course, but it is a full-immersion that combines study and design. The works produced will then be included in an exhibition and cognitive path that will be installed at RUFA Pastificio Cerere, in the heart of the San Lorenzo district in Rome, to provide an even more marked imprinting to the aims of the project. Tracks of Freedom is one of the highest elements in the internationalization plan that RUFA has already started last academic year and that will become even stronger.
