Wednesday, November 20, starting at 3 pm, as part of the lesson given by the lecturer Luigi Prestinenza Puglisi will be held a meeting with the architect Alessandro Ridolfi who, among the many activities completed over the years, has worked closely with the IBM group, creating the new business center located in Fiumicino. The “lectio” with Alessandro Ridolfi, founder of Studio Z14 architects, will focus on the theme “Sguardi sulla città”, showing the experiences that the architect has put in place in Rome and that represent, for style and sophistication, of the real “case – history”. The meeting will be held in the Aula Magna, in via Taro 14.
Alessandro Ridolfi graduated in Architecture at the University La Sapienza in Rome, where he carried out research and teaching activities. He has held numerous university lectures at various international universities, including Tongji University in Shanghai (China), School of Architecture and Design in Chengdu (China), Beijing Jiaotong University (China), and prestigious international institutions such as the Architectural Association Doha (Qatar) and the Italian Institute of Culture in Paris. He was president of the Order of Architects P.P.C. of Rome and Province from 2015 to 2017. Editor-in-Chief of the architecture magazine AR, Ridolfi has published articles in various publications (The Plan, Arca International, AR Edizioni), as well as some books, including: “Sguardi sulla città” (Santarcangelo di Romagna, Maggioli Editore, 2019), “Architetti Romani nel Mondo” (Yearbook 02 – Architetti Romani nel mondo”, Rome, Prospettive Edizioni), “La città del futuro. Roma 2030 l’architettura come risorsa” (Rome, AR-Edizioni, 2017). He has won several design competitions and received numerous international awards.
Alessandro Ridolfi’s work ranges from the production of urban visions to the design of architecture at different scales, with a constant interest in the future development of urban and environmental scenarios.
