The Lazio Region, with the support of Lazio Innova and Spazio Attivo LOIC (Lazio Open Innovation Centre) Zagarolo has promoted a training project in the field of design divided into three different workshops called “Zagathon”, which deal respectively with the themes “food”, “wellness” and “cultural heritage”.
These are intensive training courses that take place in 7 days, from 9 to 20. The next 25 November starts the project “Zagathon for Cultural Heritage”, whose conclusion is scheduled for December 1.
The Zagathons, in particular, are aimed at 20 graduate/graduate students, high school graduates and young professionals in the field of Product design, Interior design, Visual design, Marketing and advertising from all over Italy and abroad. The workshop aims to give life to a “full-immersion” experience of high-profile professional design by developing projects in an entrepreneurial key. The notice of selection of participants is published on the website of Lazio Innova and expires on Wednesday, November 20. The 20 selected participants, in addition to free participation, will be offered board and lodging at the WikiHostel in Zagarolo for all 7 days of duration of the Zagathon.
The aim of the initiative is to develop a network between participants, between companies and other realities in the area, with the intent to create opportunities and strengthen a system of productive and professional relationships. The Zagathon workshop will take place in Zagarolo in piazza Indipendenza 18, inside Palazzo Rospigliosi in the Spazio Attivo LOIC (Lazio Open Innovation Centre): the innovation hub of the Lazio Region that addresses startups, culture and tourism. Zagarolo is located a few kilometers from the center of Rome and is connected by an efficient railway network and Ciampino airport.
