RUFA students Alessio Castiglia and Mattia De Nittis took first and second prizes respectively at the festival “Convergenze di immagini mediterranee” (Convergence of Mediterranean images). The project was carried out by the Comune di Atrani (Sa), the association “Maiori Film Festival” and the Campania Region. The festival aimed to present the country, its natural, artistic and cultural beauties and eventually find “convergences” with the cultures of other nations of the Mediterranean.
The students had to respect some very precise parameters: from the use of different multimedia languages to a total duration of 15 minutes, with the sole purpose of making the development of the theme interesting and engaging.
Alessio Castiglia presented “RDV la natura della luce”: an experience that looks at the cinema from a very different angle. “Once out of the room – explains the student – we tend to analyze a film thinking about the structure of the story and interpretation. Few people focus on photography, which restores the atmosphere and mood of the film”.
Mattia De Nittis presented “Monte je nu paravis”. “For a long time – the student points out – I had in mind to tell my little village: Monte Sant ‘Angelo. Thanks to a university examination I was able to realize this idea trying to represent the best of my land.
