It’s quick to say “comic book” and maybe even more to say “comic book”, but what does it really mean to live on comics?
In three hours Giacomo Bevilacqua has unravelled the world of comics from idea to writing to drawing, to the relationship with publishers and the public. He spoke very concretely about how to move within the Italian market while remaining true to oneself but without ever losing sight of what readers expect.
There were also moments of technical in-depth study on the use of tools, levels of detail for printing, color profiles and the best products for digital drawing.
Finally, Bevilacqua gave a preview of the tables for the new book by A Panda Piace, and a secret new work still in progress.
It was nice to see so many curious guys interested in learning this job!
