This year, as part of the International Week 2018, there is a film contest open to all European students. For this edition, the theme chosen is “Women’s Rights or Gender Equality”, which will include students from seven different universities, who will produce a short film of up to 3 minutes on the topic of women’s rights and gender equality. Movies can be fun, sad, serious or absurd as long as they focus on condemning and isolating discrimination. To show this concept, students can use various techniques, including animation, which was very popular, effective and appreciated even in past competitions.
In the last few days we have had the pleasure to host the, Professor Sylvie Page from the University of Mainz, event director of the contest, who confronted the students and gave them valuable advices to deal the challenge.
